Low Cost Fall Snacks: Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

IMG_20151026_062623736These pumpkins seeds turned out so yummy.  It tasted much like popcorn in your mouth.  The buttery flavor was awesome and think of the nutrition gained from eating them.

Directions

We used 1 medium pumpkin and gained  about 200 seeds.

Preheat your oven at 325 degrees.

Place the seeds in a colander and rinse off the pulp.

Place the seeds in boiling salt water for ten minutes.  This causes them to cook evenly.

Butter up your baking sheet. Place the seeds on the pan and spread them out.

Shake some salt on those seeds.

Bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven.  Let them cool for five minutes before popping them into your mouth!!

Have a great snack!!  Your littles will love chewing on these.
