There are so many things that can take up our time………………yes, I am guilty of the social media front. If I am not careful, I can get on facebook too many times throughout the day. And then my mind is clogged with what is going on with others than what is happening with my own household.
The Lord told us in the Bible to live out our lives wisely making the most of every opportunity.
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
When our minds are clogged with things that have nothing to do with our families, reexamine yourself and priorities. Your first priority is your relationship with the Lord. Your second priority is your relationship with your husband. If either one of these relationships are suffering because your thoughts are things like what’s going on on the social media front, then stop getting your mind clogged up with social media.
Stay focused on the Lord, your husband, and your family. Those are your priorities.
